The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) yesterday commenced the second set of its two-day (18th and 19th December 2013) trainings on the criminal libel law and its applications for journalists in Makeni.

The training, which was made possible by a grant from the Freetown Embassy of the United States of America, is set to expose journalists to the criminal libel aspects of the 1965 Public Order Act and also the recently enacted Access To Information law.
