Parishioners hold fundraising walk for children in Sierra Leone

Parishioners took part in a village walk to support an organisation helping children in Sierra Leone.

Adults and children gathered at St Mary & St John’s Parish Centre, in Billing Avenue, Finchampstead, in aid of Art Resourceful Tourism Sierra Leone (ARTSL).

The organisation, which is in the process of getting charitable status, was established in 2008 and runs two key programmes in the African country supporting street children and the rehabilitation of prisoners with children.
