A team from the Nigeria Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), led by Boboye Oyeyemi is currently in Sierra Leone on a week-long visit to assess the road safety situation in the country.

In a briefing with the Vice President at his office in Freetown yesterday, the Executive Director Sierra Leone Road Transport Authority (SLRTA) Dr Sarah Bendu, said that the visit came about through pleas made by the Authority to the Nigerian High Commission in Sierra Leone for technical assistance and capacity building, especially for their traffic wardens on road safety.
She added that our road network is improving and that the more paved roads, the more crashes, adding that FRSC has done lot in making the road safe for motorists and minimising road accidents in Nigeria.
