Hugh and Neh Campbell are the passionate couple behind Kingston Beach Bar and Lounge, a vibrant Jamaican restaurant and lounge on Aberdeen Beach that brings the rich flavors, music, and culture of Jamaica to Sierra Leone’s coastline.

Born and raised in Jamaica, Hugh Campbell has always been proud of his heritage and the traditions that shape Jamaican life. After marrying his wife Neh in 2018, he was introduced to Sierra Leone and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the country’s welcoming people, beautiful landscapes, and remarkable history. He was especially inspired by the cultural and historical connections that link Jamaica and Sierra Leone.

Motivated by this shared heritage, Hugh decided in 2021 to invest in Sierra Leone and create a space that would celebrate both cultures. Together, Hugh and Neh envisioned more than just a restaurant. They wanted to create a destination where people could gather, connect, and experience the warmth of Jamaican hospitality alongside the beauty of Sierra Leone’s coastline.

Working closely with partners and engaging with key stakeholders in the tourism sector, their vision came to life with the opening of Kingston Beach Bar and Lounge at Aberdeen Beach.

Today, the venue offers authentic Jamaican cuisine, refreshing drinks, lively entertainment, and a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors. From delicious island-inspired dishes to vibrant music and beachside relaxation, Kingston Beach Bar and Lounge delivers a unique experience that blends Caribbean charm with Sierra Leonean hospitality.
