From November 25–30, 2025, Sierra Leone will once again host the One Nation Reggae Festival—a vibrant celebration of cultural pride, creative talent, and the country’s growing tourism appeal. More than a music showcase, the festival has become a platform for unity, expression, and national identity, connecting Sierra Leone’s heritage with the wider Caribbean world.
A Festival Rooted in Heritage and Entertainment
The inaugural edition, held in August this year, set the tone. Now, Version 2.0 promises an even more dynamic and inspiring experience.
This festival weaves together reggae, indigenous rhythms, traditional cuisine, creative arts, and civic-minded dialogue to highlight Sierra Leone’s resilience. It creates a space where cultural identity is not only celebrated but actively preserved and elevated for future generations.
Beyond the Music
The One Nation Reggae Festival aims to rebrand Sierra Leone’s creative industries and reflect the nation’s development journey. It seeks to build a cross-sector event with strong tourism appeal, revive and promote intangible cultural heritage, and strengthen the creative economy.
A key focus is deepening connections between Sierra Leone and the Caribbean through music, travel, and knowledge exchange. The festival promotes civic education, cultural consciousness, and a greater awareness of shared African–Caribbean history. It also integrates UNESCO Convention learning and ecotourism awareness into its programming.
A Powerful Line-Up
This year’s lineup brings together an exciting mix of international and local talent. Global reggae icons Sizzla and Chris Martin will share the stage with Sierra Leonean stars such as Dallas Bantan, Afrimaroon, and many others.
Reggae has long been a voice for unity, identity, and social awareness. The One Nation Reggae Festival carries that spirit forward—celebrating Sierra Leone’s cultural depth while building new bridges across continents.
We’re truly excited.
The One Nation Reggae Festival isn’t just an event—it’s a movement, inspiring pride, opportunity, and a cultural renaissance across Sierra Leone.
