We are deeply saddened to learn about the passing of our Tour Guide Alusine Kamara. This sad event took place today, 1st September 2021 in his home town of Kangbor Village, Samu Chiefdom, Kambia district.
Alusine had been with VSL since 2011 and was a very knowledgeable and exemplary tour guide. His passion for tourism was second to none and he had a particular love for bird-watching. Alusine was also a teacher and this shone through with his professional and articulate delivery. He made friends wherever he went and had developed relationships with many around the globe.
We will miss him dearly and will always remember him fondly. We are heart-broken but seek comfort knowing he was a good man, and a Sheikh with deep religious faith.
Rest in Peace Kamara!
