The Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Gender and Children’s Affairs, Mustapha Bai Attila (photo) on Tuesday, 26th February, 2013 paid an inspirational and spirited visit to the School for the Blind at Wilkinson Road, Freetown.

The Minister made an on the spot visit to every classroom while classes were in session and later assembled and engaged the Headmaster , teachers, and pupils in a dialogue that left an indelible print on the hearts and minds of all present.

In his short statement, the Deputy Minister, who is also visually impaired, entreated blind pupils to be courageous and God fearing which, according to him, are the best virtues in life, stressing that every human being should have courage and faith in the Almighty God.
