Johnny McKinstry is hopeful he will be appointed Sierra Leone coach on a permanent basis after holding positive talks with the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) and the country’s Sports Ministry.
McKinstry was placed in interim charge of the Leone Stars in April, overseeing the team for three World Cup qualifiers.
