The Sierra Leone Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (SLANGO) has received a computer laptop and laser-jet printer from the International Rescue Committee (IRC) as logistic support to the organization’s finance department.
The donation is geared towards facilitating administrative activities at SLANGO, especially its effort to promote the agenda of both local and international NGOs registered in the country.
Speaking on behalf of SLANGO, Board Member Daniel Saffa said that IRC has been very pivotal in the drive to boost the activities at the office, in the area of providing logistical, expatriate and other support since its inception in Sierra Leone.

He said that quite recently IRC donated a motorbike to the office to aid mobility in the provinces, and other set of equipment for immigration activities bordering on the movement of NGOs in and out of the country.
IRC Operations Coordinator, Albert Coker, said that IRC is one of the registered members of SLANGO and they have been demonstrating their support in promoting the organisation over the years.
