BEHAVIOUR CHANGE AND COMMUNICATION OFFICER – FREETOWN

Concern Worldwide is an international NGO operating in Sierra Leone since 1995 and helping those who live in extreme poverty through the provision of Health; Education; Food; Income and Market activities. We are currently recruiting for the position of Behaviour Change and Communication Officer –Freetown. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, and implementation of the project Behaviour Change and Communication strategy.  She/he will also have the primary responsibility in support the projecting to develop and disseminate appropriate, effective and targeted messages that will increase awareness and demand for prevention, care and treatment on the leading local causes of mortality.

The contract is for one year with a six month probation period; possibility of extension thereafter.

Any offer of employment with Concern Sierra Leone is subject to a Terrorism Clearance Check being conducted on the applicant.  The check will be conducted from lists being generated by the European Union, The United Nations and the US Government.
