A giant cement factory is expected to start operation in Sierra Leone in the next few months. Using sophisticated modern machinery, the coming factory, CT-CEM, will be producing 250,000 metric tons of modern standard cement per annum to meet the demands of Sierra Leoneans.

This was recently revealed by the factory’s General Manager, Oliver Albrecht, during the day-long Public Disclosure of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA), organized by the Construction Engineering Manufacturing Management and Technical Services (CEMMATS) Group at the Archbishop Brosnahan Hall, Satanno House Howe Street, Freetown, on Wednesday 3rd March, 2013.
