Taia Resort

I spent two weeks in Freetown last summer and I found the hotel an exciting place to stay with very convenient transport links to the city, Freetown. The splendid location of the hotel along lumley beach, a stone's throw from the atlantic ocean is an ultimate paradise for the holiday maker and a complete therapy from the hustle and bustle of Freetown.

I happened to have met the entrepreneur and CEO of the hotel. He is a very dynamic businessman and very forward thinking ideas of how to transform his business and the tourism industry in Freetown.

I plan to go to Freetown again in Summer and Taia Resort will be my home. I would highly recommend the resort. I had a fantastic time.

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. The rooms are very spacious, neat and tidy with clean running water and very good air conditioning system. The staff are very polite, courteous and very professional. The food was very good and the kitchen staff are excellent. I stayed her for 7 nights and I enjoyed every bit of it. The location is splendid and its proximity to the sea is just an added bonus. Highly recommended.

The Chief Executive, Wilfred is a very well informed business entrepreneur and I found him to be very honest, reliable and trustworthy. He means well for his country and I really wish him well.

I spent 5 days at the hotel during the month of September 2011. I was fortunate to have a spacious corner room. I liked the room very much. The cleaning crew was excellent. The only problem I had was with the food. Breakfast was below average. I ordered Diner twice, but was not able to eat. Away from the food and (food service)that can be improved, I had an excellent experience with the hotel.

The photos are completely misleading. The staff were very unfriendly. The room like a prison. The food was terrible. The location is all this place has.

I attended a Symposium at this Hotel. I was impressed, the Hotel was clean, and the staff very professional and accommodating. I love the fact that it located by the beach. I will compare it to any 4 star Marriott Hotels in the United States. I hope they keep up the good work, by keeping it clean and continue creating a pleasant atmosphere for customers. I am looking forward to them having a pool soon.
