July-August 2005 Edition

Hi again,

Frankly it's been a bit quiet in the past month. Perfectly understandable as summer is upon us, well some of us anyway! Lots of sun and fun time... well next week is London's summer carnival which for me has always signalled the end of summer. So all the leaves will soon become golden and autumn will be upon us. Autumn never lasts long and before you know it we will be welcoming winter! Brrr!

If you're looking to jet off to Sierra Leone for Christmas holidays and top up with a bit of sun... VisitSierraLeone.org is proud to announce that we are looking to organise a boat trip to Bunce Island and Banana Island to add to the excitement of Christmas. This is following the success of our previous trip to Bunce Island Christmas '04 which was a fantastic experience for those of us who were on board.

Before this trip is organised we need to determine the level of interest and have an idea on the amount of people and trips that may need to be organised. If you are interested in this trip please submit your information by completing this form - pretty quick and simple.

You may also want to check out this fantastic article and pictures from the VSL Bunce Island '04 trip.

This year we are looking to take it one step further with a trip to Banana Island as well but it all depends on the response. The cost of the trip will be based on 15-20 people per boat and price will include food. More details will be provided later.

Fill in the form to confirm your interest!
