June-July2005 Edition

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VSL!

Funny how time flies when you're having fun!

First of all, we would like to thank all of you for
continuing to support VSL during the course
of the last year and hopefully for years to come.
Your emails of encouragement and appreciation
have been a continued source of inspiration and
motivation to keep doing this so keep them
coming. You make the site what it is.

Special thank you to those who have provided
images and content which have made VSL a
valuable resource for all who take an interest in
Sierra Leone. Rosalyn Hanson-Alp, Giima Lavaly,
Ione (Country Lodge), Cecil Williams (National
Tourist Board), Joseph Apala, Jaqueline Perret,

Moira Ferran, Yemisi Williams, Bala (Tacugama Sanctuary), Yeniva Sisay,
and all members of my family and friends.

Thanks also goes to Cool-Runnins, Trump, Edleen, Mah-D, Saloneman,
Saloneboy, Ssoulsistaa , Sabawaka, Salonebaby and alphamale for helping
to build one of the most active Sierra Leone forums on the net where
visitors are offered practical business and travel advice before making their
way to Sierra Leone.

The site has grown beyond my imagination during the course of the last year
and continues to do so. In the past year the site received 1,304 email
inquiries; 19,086,190 hits and was visited 214,070 times. Very good for a
small niche about tourism in a country where the industry is nearly
non-existent. We have provided business and travel advice for first time
visitors also arranged a tour to Bunce Island where we explored the
remnants of the former slave port.

We have also supported various events such as the Sierra Leone
Chamber of Commerce Trade Fair, Priscilla's Homecoming, The Sierra
Leone Diaspora Forum Meeting, SLWT Fun Run and we look forward
to even more contributions in the year ahead.

In order for VSL to ensure continued development of the site and to
allow businesses to take advantage of our success, we will be offering
limited advertising opportunities. This is an ideal opportunity to target
worldwide the audience that VSL now reaches on a daily basis.

We are also working on providing certain services to visitors but look
forward to more information on that in the coming months.

Thank you all for your support.. It has been quite a ride.

We came across this web site for

It's well designed and offers updated

gives an estimated end date of
