Youth Ambassador Anthony Navo elected as Chairman of AWOL in Sierra Leone PDF Print E-mail

One of Sierra Leone’s most dynamic entrepreneurs, Anthony Navo,  has been elected as Chairman of  (AWOL) All Works of Life, a major non-profit and non-political charitable organisation that is already impacting lives in the West African State. The inauguration of the new Chairman will take place on Friday at the old school complex, Hill Station, in Freetown. Anthony Navo who is currently the Director of Communications at African Minerals, is an outstanding Sierra Leonean whose contribution to the social and economic life of his country has always been remarkable.

The election of Navo as Chairman is a clear indication that the organisation places serious emphasis on its work with grassroots members of the local community, because of the formidable role the new Chairman has played in  youth and community development by promoting  and contributing to social welfare and youth empowerment. As Chairman, Navo hopes to bring a fresh start to the organisation as it position itself to play a more significant role in rewarding enterprising individuals and businesses who influence positive change in the society. Before this election as Chairman, Navo was also appointed as Youth Ambassador by the Young Leaders Sierra Leone, a group of all youth organisations in the country. This appointment also demonstrates the confidence the youths have in the leadership of Mr Navo.
