VOLUNTEERS are being offered a chance to work on life-changing projects in Africa alongside a charity started by a top international footballer.
Ben Bomford, from Fladbury near Evesham, and friend Chris Habershon have set up a volunteer organisation which sends people to Sierra Leone as part of the Craig Bellamy Foundation – founded by the Wales and Liverpool player – and the charity Street Child of Sierra Leone.
The Collective – Sierra Leone is on the look out for enthusiastic and talented volunteers to take part in challenging projects in the west African country.
Ben said: “We have been lucky to find two partners and together we provide project management opportunities for volunteers looking to get into international development or wanting to take a break from their career and make a measurable impact abroad. This is a chance for volunteers to transform a community.”
