Leone Stars Captain Ibrahim Obreh Kargbo has confirmed to the Sierra Express Media that he will be retiring from the Sierra Leone National Football team soon.
According to the Inter Baku midfielder, the way and manner in which the Football Association is behaving to them as players has forced him to hang up his boots for the national football team Leone Stars.
“It seems that they have brought the game of politics into the national team which to me is uncalled for,” Obreh said.
He stressed he has not seen himself as a member of any of the cabals at the FA at all. “My work is to play for my country at any time when called upon. I am not getting the cooperation from members of the Sierra Leone Football Association as a captain at all.”
