The forum is organized by the government of Sierra Leone through the Ministry of Trade and Industries and the Sierra Leone Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SLEIPA) to create interface dialogue between the private sector and international investors for partnership.
The company is complementing government efforts in promoting foreign direct investment to boost economic growth and sustainable development in Sierra Leone.
According to the Country Manager of Cluff Gold Company in Sierra Leone Alusine Jalloh the company is committed and determined to contribute to the socio- economic development of the country
He said the company is one of the lead sponsors amongst others of the Sierra Leone Trade and Investments partnership Forum slated for the November 16th -17th 2001 at the Miata Conference Centre in Freetown.
Other sponsors of the Sierra Leone Trade and Investments partnership Forum include London Mining Company, Joule Africa, Guarantee Trust Bank, BMI Airline, Sierra Leone Commercial Bank and Standard Charted Bank
The forum is expected to attract over three hundred participants locally and internationally to discuss growth sectors and investment opportunities in the country.
The forum will also feature exhibitions of local products at stalls, meeting and working spaces offering opportunities, for participants to engage in formal and informal discussions and dialogue about investment portfolios.
