Bellamy Foundation League Set for Kick-Off Across Salone PDF Print E-mail

Freetown — Thousands of children across the country both male and female are eagerly awaiting the kick-off of the third season of the Craig Bellamy Foundation (CBF) Youth Football League.

The tournament which has helped discovered several potential talents across the country is set to unearth other potentials for both the academy and the country.

Already, coaches and referees have been trained, players' registration completed and squad lists submitted for the tournament which will soon kick-off though the exact date is yet to be stated by the foundation.

According to the CBF Chief Executive Officer, Tim Kellow, several leading organisations and individuals have already shown their support towards the project by sponsoring teams this season but he is still calling on other interested organisations to come on board and help change the lives of thousands of children across the country by sponsoring a team.

He said: "Running as a non-profit football academy, the Craig Bellamy Foundation (CBF) operates a national youth league that harnesses children's love of football to help tackle the country's urgent social development priorities, education, health, youth exclusion and gender inequality.
