Banana Islands
You will be picked up in the morning and transferred to Kent where you will board the boat for the Banana Islands. Once on the island, you can take a walk around this historic island, go snorkelling or fishing. The islands have historical facts like the firing point and four guns near the old wharf at Dublin and the two old Tombstones in the cemetery also at Dublin. Enjoy lobster, fish or chicken for lunch before heading back to Freetown.
Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary
You will be picked up in the morning and transferred the Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in time for the 10am tour of the Sanctuary. After learning about the work being done at the Sanctuary, you then have the option to explore the surrounding villages of Regent, Bathurst or Charlotte (maybe even walk to the falls). In the afternoon, you will be treated to lunch before departing the sanctuary for your destination.
