I sort of want to give Rooster a higher rating, but it's a bit grotty. Rooster has been around forever, a Salone friend of mine remembers grabbing a bite there when we was first working in Freetown; and he's not sure it's been redecorated since.

But it's been around for a while so it's obviously doing something right and the food's ok. I'd dispute their 'best chicken in Freetown' claim but it is good, and the various oddly named burgers are good value, and they are served on a toasted bun which is different and welcome.

So a worthwhile option for the quick lunchtime bite, which probably won't become a regular haunt. Worth going once just to see their partially wall-papered over murals.
