Atlantic restaurant used to be based in the centre of town and have a great reputation for food, it's now moved to a fantastic beach-front location and is a popular beach bar, with occasional live music, films and other events. Situated at the southern end of the beach road, it's the only bar which actually sits on the beach - the rest are all on the other side of the road, so as a location to sit and watch the sun go down it's very agreeable.
The food is still ok; the hummus is better spiced than most, fish is good and the steaks are passable, but it's not great and the prices are on the high end of 'medium' (45,000Le for a steak and chips), but that's common for all of the beach bars.
If you can, get a lift or drive there, there's plenty of parking and it can be hard to find taxi's late at night on the beach road, plus that southern end isn't the safest place to stand around waiting. The car park staff will help.
